Sansevieria trifasciata 'Laurentii'
The famed indoor plant with a stripe of colour.
It's an icon of indoor plants. Why? No other plant has the same reputation for putting up with quite as much as a snake plant!
These plants seem to thrive on a certain amount of neglect. We're not saying never look after it (you should), but it's true that if you forget to water for a month or two it might even look better than you remembered.
If you are an overwater try and hold back and water much less frequently than you think. Not only does too much water cause root rot, we notice that it tends to attract scale bugs which seem to love this plant, especially during the long rains and cold season.
