Aglaonema costatum 'sparkles'
Stunning foliage and easy to care for = the perfect plant?
If you are looking to turn heads then this Aglaonema could be the one. An excellent air purifier, these are a great addition to any home, especially in livingrooms or bedrooms. They're also not that difficult to care for, needing bright, indirect light and watering when the top 3-4cm are dry to the touch. Make sure any excess water is well drained however, as Aglaonema are prone to root rot.
In Chinese culture Aglaonema are considered a lucky plant that can bring good fortune, and this 'sparkles' variety certainly seems to support that idea!
